Fresh-Frozen Whole Edible Sea Stars

Whole starfish with five arms, a warm orange-to-yellow colour and a surface covered in small raised bumps. One is opened up to show the green-yellow mass packed inside the arms. They are shown on a speckled board, on a white plate, and on a steel tray with a little spring onion and chilli alongside.

The arms are the part that gets eaten. Steam or blanch them briefly and the outer skin peels away, or split the arms and grill them. The body itself is not eaten.

Keep frozen at -18°C or below. Cook thoroughly before eating.
